This is it! The Nominations for the Sonic Site Awards 2007 are slowly being revealed as we speak! Keep an eye on the AWARDS page for each category's nominations list to be unveiled. Round about 5pm BST the Polls for Phase II will officially open, giving you plenty of time to scope out each nomination in the meantime. If you've not gone through this year, then don't give up hope - there's always next year! It's not about winning, it's about taking part; and links for all submitted sites will be found on the AWARDS page alongside the official nominations. So you may find if you've missed out this year, you'll get the support and drive to become even better in 12 month's time!

Congratulations to all our submissions and good luck to all nominees. Polls for Phase II officially close October 15th 2007. That's plenty of time to be voting for your favourite site, so go ahead and do it already!

Unfortunately, due to a computer crash earlier in the week, we have not been able to complete the submissions process for Friday, the day we intended to launch Phase II of the Sonic Site Awards event. As this was the main computer we are working from, it may result in an extended delay for the nominees to be contacted and processed. Please bear with us - we should be able to get through the lot by Wednesday at the latest. Keep an eye out!

Here we go! The Sonic Site Awards is officially open for business! Just log into your TSS Account using the form above (if you've not already logged in via The Sonic Stadium or the SSMB Forums) and use the nominations form on the left hand sidebar. There are some guidelines to nominating though - be sure, once you have decided on a potential nominee worthy of submitting to the system, that you only do it once. We judge sites on merit for awards this year, and multiple submissions will not be considered. You'll only get your account kicked if you try it.

Other than that, have fun! You can submit your favourite sites, people, or creations until 10th August 2007! So be aware that after this date, the nominations option will be closed and polls will open for Phase Two shortly after.

We're back in action! The Sonic Site Awards event is an annual ceremony hosted by The Sonic Stadium, aiming to highlight those fansites and other people in the Sonic the Hedgehog online community for the hard work and success they have achieved over the last 12 months. As is tradition, this website has enjoyed a facelift ahead of the start of the new SSA. The actual awards will not start for a few days yet while we get some preliminary stuff sorted, but you can check out the history of the event, along with a list of past winners and their websites. You can also see a list of returning awards to the left there.

As in previous years, you will need a TSS Account to participate in this year's event. This is to prevent multiple votes and submissions going through and to crack down on cheating. More information on the awards, as well as start times for Phases and logging in information to vote will be provided very soon. Until then, sit tight...
